AUSTRALIA DAY 2006  = 26.01.06

January is always a lovely month for us and the dogs.  Our Lukas turned 9 years old on the 3rd.  Hard to believe he has been with us for 4 years now.    Other Birthdays was Fanta our co-owned Swedish girl with Arthur and Anne Wells - the big one year old on the 25th.  And Australia day itself sees the birthday of Kazan our very first Toller from the first Toller Litter ever born in Queensland.

  FANTA, KAZAN AND LACEY - THE BIRTHDAY KIDS.

So up at 4.30am this morning, Kazan and Rush with us to head to Nudgee Beach to meet up with Emma and gang and lots of other folk for a play and swim.  Emma is Kazan's breeder and owns Lacey, Kazan's sister.  So that made another birthday kid there.

Being a dog park we ended up with lots of red dogs and lots of other dogs all enjoying the fun. We had Bitzers, Borzoi, Borders, Mastiffs, Goldies, Rotties, Cattle Dogs,  oh and lots of others.  I think the regular dog park goers were amazed to suddenly see all the Tollers on mass and having a great time.  The Tollers were equally happy finding loads of fresh faces to throw balls into the water for them.
